Meet Viliana (known as Vee), business partner of Aurora Hairdressing. Vee has been in the hairdressing industry for a 12 years. She says: “I was very lucky to start my hairdressing career with a talented and passionate hairdresser, who taught me to adore the hairdressing industry and to keep following my dreams. I have worked in a few different places and each one of them was a progressive step ahead to build myself as a confident, professional and successful hairdresser.”
Which hair styles or colours do you absolutely love doing? My entire passion is hairdressing in general, but most particular are bob styles, colour corrections, toners, balayage and I am renowned for my blow dries. They all can be very creative or at the same time quite natural. Blow drying is something which I love doing – it is a very important part of what I do because it shows off the cut and colour I have created.
What do you love about being a hairdresser? I love many things about being a hairdresser. The relationship which you build with the client is very special, you look forward seeing them every next time with pleasure. To hear their calm words “ I am trusting you” is incomparable.
The satisfaction and happiness shown on their faces when they see the end result and the trust and faith they have in you, makes you feel privileged that they have chosen you to be their hairdresser. Being a good hairdresser is a gift you are born with.
Who or what inspires you to create fabulous hair? I’m inspired by the new trends, my clients, my teammates, and other professionals who are passionate about their career in hairdressing. I’m constantly learning.
If you had to live on a desert island, which three hair products would you take with you? Shampoo, mask, mythic oil leave in.
What is your ultimate ambition? I am doing it at the moment, working with an amazing team of talented stylists to make the salon succeed to a level of being recognised within the hairdressing industry for excellence.
How would you describe yourself in three words? Loud, ambitious, perfectionist.
Tell us something about you that would surprise others… I am not as loud and chatty at home.
